I’m simply an amateur traveler whose love for seeing new places and experiencing cultures around the world was instilled upon me by my father by the time I was old enough to retain recollections. My dad was an adventurer extraordinaire, who gave me the confidence to wander, explore and soak in my surroundings, both at the speed of light when necessary and at a snail’s pace when time allows and ambiance demands.

I’ve embraced my dad’s spirit of curiosity and have tried to optimize my limited time vacation time over the years to allow me to expand my horizons and share my dad’s zeal for life and learning with my son. I’d like to believe that my dad (my son’s Opa) would be proud of both of us and how his enthusiasm for finding new frontiers to cross lives on through both my son and me.
